Every year since 2001 our customers have given our New England style signs as gifts to their friends and relatives.  We've been fortunate to have been a part of the gift-giving process thousands times.

This holiday season, whether you are seeking a unique Christmas or Hanukkah gift or just want to say thanks to someone for their help this year, please consider giving them a New England style sign.  There is not much that is more memorable than a gift that is personalized to reflect the life and love of your friend/relative and a New England style sign fills that bill extremely well.

We have seven different sizes and more than 20 shapes available, so you can choose options to fit every need.  Our straight-forward step-by-step ordering process makes it fun and easy for you to order the sign. After you have ordered, one of our artists will create a custom sign layout and send a proof for you to approve, and we will modify the design until it is the perfect layout for you.  There is no obligation until you are satisfied with the design.

We will drop ship the order to the gift recipient if you like, and even include a personalized gift message in the package.

For 13 years, thousands of people have trusted us with their gift-giving and given our signs as gifts for all kinds of holidays including Christmas, Hanukkah, Mother's Day, Father's Day; and often just to say thanks!  If you trust us with your gift list this year we will work to ensure your satisfaction with every step of the process.

Happy Holidays and thank you in advance!

Signs Make Great Gifts

If you are like us, deciding what gifts to give your loved ones is a challenge every year.  Finding a gift idea for Mom or Dad gets to be more of an issue each year as they seem to already have one or two of “everything”.  And getting Dad another tie just doesn’t seem like it will excite him much.  Giving a personalized gift is often so much more gratifying than another “me too” gift card or sweater or socks.

For the past decade, our customers have gifted many hundreds of our custom signs to their loved ones.  Your family and friends will truly appreciate a unique custom sign for their home, cottage, or small business.

With our unique website, we make the process easy to order a custom sign.  The website will take you step by step through each of the available options.  Then, one of our experienced sign designers will layout the sign design and we will send you a proof to approve.  When you are satisfied with the layout of your gift, you will make the payment for the sign and we will produce and drop ship your gift to the location you choose.  We will even include a gift message if you choose.

It’s easy to make the holiday gifting experience more personalized.  Check out all we have to choose from at: and also on our facebook page.

PolyEngraved signs are here!

Our PolyEngraved signs are made from a 1/2"- 1" thick high-density UV stabilized polyethylene. This tough sign material won't delaminate, chip or peel and is designed to withstand a wide range of environmental conditions. This UV stabilized sign board material won't fade in direct sunlight and can withstand rain, cold, hail and wind. It resists graffiti, the non-stick surface protects against spray paints and markers and it is also impact resistant.

Available in a variety of color combinations, they are made from 3 layers of High Density Polyethylene (recycled milk bottles, a "green" product). The inside core of the signboard material is a different color than the outside layers. So when we carve or engrave it, this inner core color becomes exposed, giving you the color contrast desired. It looks just like painted wood, feels just like painted wood, but outlasts painted wood by many years!

PolyEngraved signs are our most durable sign and will withstand the harshest weather and they are vandal resistant. Our PolyEngraved signs are perfect for Business signs, Church signs, School signs, Farm signs, Residential signs, etc.

We use a solid core high density polyethylene signboard material, NO WOOD, which means no need to worry about warping, rotting, etc. Click Here to see complete info and pricing.

Wood vs PVC?

We occasionally have customers ask us for wooden signs. As shown on our website, here is why we prefer PVC over wood:

Why we use NO WOOD in our signs...

Signs made from wood are subject to splitting, cracking, rotting, and warping. Wood naturally expands and contracts with temperature and humidity variations. This "movement" of the wood fibers can lead to the wooden sign swelling, causing hairline cracks in the protective paint, graphics or finish coat. Thus inviting even more moisture into the wood. A wooden sign will require regular maintenance to protect it from further damage by moisture. You will need to have your wood sign repainted or refinished often to keep it looking as new as the day you bought it. Further, most wood that is available today is of poor quality. The wood is cut from "new growth forests" using the heartwood. This wood is not as wide as boards taken from "old growth forests" and need to be laminated (glued) together to make it wide enough for a sign. Hence, "new growth wood" tends to cup, warp, split and rot much more today than when we were able to create signs from "old growth wood".

Why we use solid PVC signboards instead.....

Here at we use a solid core, dense PVC signboard for all of our Carved Signs, Market Street signs and most of our New England Style signs. The PVC "builders-grade" signboard is weather resistant and designed for long term outdoor use. It will not soak up moisture and expand and contract like wood does (like the wooden sign photo below). With built in UV stabilizers, it withstands the elements extremely well. In fact this very same product is now used widely in the construction industry for exterior trim on homes and buildings. If you are going to spend the time and money to get a new sign, don't you want it to last a long time?
